Cool weather, pumpkin spice everything, and college football ~ the trifecta of Fall. Unfortunately, only 2 of the 3 are happening around here this year, but that doesn’t mean we’re going to abandon our beloved football team at The Ohio State University. They might not be playing, but Saturdays in the Fall will always be dedicated to our favorite scarlet and grey team. One of my favorite memories in years past was going to the Skull sessions to hear the band play and then walking over to the stadium parking lot to tailgate with friends and family. We always had a huge array of food and whether or not we knew everyone there personally, by the start of the game, we were friends looking forward to seeing each other again at the next home game. Sometimes we were lucky enough to have tickets to the game, but most of the time it was just fun being on campus surrounded by other Buckeye fans. To say I'm disappointed we won't be doing that again this year is an understatement, but life goes on and we'll honor our Buckeyes on would-be game days anyways!
